To All Lovers of Christmas,

"O, the weather outside is frightful" certainly would apply to Kansas City with blowing snow and frigid temperatures in the last 24 hours.  But as an old Michigander that always puts me in the mood for Christmas.  So let me remind you of a few special events for the month of December.

This Friday evening, December 11th, is the Ladies Christmas Home Tour.  Five of our ladies have decorated and opened their homes especially for us.  You will not want to miss this!    There will be a bus pickup at the Blue Ridge campus at 6:30 pm and then another pickup at Lowes in Raymore at 6:55 pm.  You can park, ride and save gas, and have a very enjoyable evening being escorted around by your pastor.  At the end of the tour, everyone will enjoy desserts and discover who your Hidden Treasures have been for the year. 

Another highlight of the Christmas season is our children program, "Shepherds, Sheep and the Savior."  Preview:

December 13th at 9:00 am…Creekmoor campus and the entire program, December 20th at 11:30 pm….Blue Ridge campus.  Invite someone to watch and listen our children present the real meaning of Christmas.

To cap off our Christmas celebration, both of our campuses will join to together for a one hour Candlelight Christmas Eve service at 5:00 pm.  I hope you and your family will join us for a time of reflection and rejoicing.
